The 10 Ways You Can Make Crypto Friends

1. Be Active on X (Crypto Twitter)
Oh, the experience I had making friends on Crypto twitter before the memecoins got over-saturated, create an account and don't just post or engage to be engaging, make your posts meaningful and make sure others can relate to them, don't treat the internet like it's full of bots cough be authentic and you'll notice that you have a group of people that are engaging with you everyday and waiting for you to go online.
2. Join Niche Telegram & Discord Groups
This is the fun part of connecting with friends in crypto, say you have engaged on posts back and forth which is the hardest form of communication to keep updated, you or someone else may create a Telegram or a Discord group, you don't need to be on X 24/7 especially with their bot activity banning every account that makes like 5 posts in 1 day. You don't have to write in these groups but as long as you're active and engaging to keep up with the crowd you'll be upto date.
3. Tune Into X Spaces
Do you have that favourite memecoin or crypto-twitter group that you just want to learn more about, make sure you switch on your notifications and join every single X Space and if you do know a little about the topic you may raise your hand to get your voice heard, a lot of people know how hard it is to be a public speaker so speaking on these spaces will get you big-crypto-respect.
4. Attend Local Meetups & Conferences
To meet real people you need to go to real event in real life not just online, you find official news on official crypto channels and companies, make sure the meetups and conferences are on your day of work (if you work) if not make sure they're close by and if you can make it there, I am %100 you will not regret it, it's for the experience and to meet new people and see what they possibly might be doing besides crypto.
5. Participate in DAOs or Working Groups
Do you have a set skill that you would like to share with a group to help grow a community or a project, connect with like-minded enthusiasts and watch how your life changes, for the better.
6. Share Your Research & Alpha
Again, stop with the gatekeeping, you're not going to make it far if you do not help others, share that new project you discovered even if you think they may already know about it, maybe they do and they will be able to share someone even more interesting than what you already know which will make you dive deeper or maybe you found the next pump and dump and would like to see if there are others that are willing to "Hype" that coin to bring on as many people, just kidding don't do that, you are the Alpha never forget that.
7. Join On-Chain Guilds or Gaming Communities
If you are a gamer this one is self-explanatory, games are fun when you are playing with your friends, that's why the 80s and 90s were so fun, we had our relatives all around us when we were kids and played for hours and hours, then we got older and the internet came about, then the 4 player games dropped to 2 players and "online" so we can play with people and this time with strangers, make sure you actually enjoy the game, you can only "blue-moon" something for so long.
8. Help Onboard Beginners
Do you remember when you first started out in crypto? I do, there was no one there I was lost and didn't know what to do but I was pushing "post" every second, but all of a sudden after doing all the proper engaging and connecting it helped me grow a circle, I networked with people that I never would have or still may not meet in real life, and I would like to say that those that have helped me or at least tried to help, I will always remember them as I just did now as I was writing this note.
9. Form a Small Alpha/Study Group
This one is for once you start to make a good connection, maybe like 3-4 people at first then the group grows to 10 people so forth, these types of groups are for sharing ideas and projects, have you found the next gem, who owns it, why do you feel it's important right now?
10. Be an Ambassador for New Projects
Yes, If you have been following me you would know, this was my niche, be an Ambassador, just make sure you get paid for what you do otherwise you'll just be an ambassador, no one likes "Broke" and if "broke" is what you are then no one will "Pay-Attention" being on the front like for new projects is fun, i bets it's fun for old projects to if the team get you onboard, I mean, if you're going to do it for fun you may as well be a self employed ambassador for Bitcoin or Binance, but that's not the point, being an ambassador for new projects is similar to getting your voice heard on X spaces, people know how hard it is and how daunting it can be especially when the markets are plummeting heavily, If you have a calm demeanor to help people keep collected then you will make it far in this space, but please do not do favours unless you really have money so you can "support" the project when a major dump happens otherwise you'll just be getting dumped on like your fans.
