21 Aug 2020 2 minute read 2 comments BLIP

I am tracking the trades for my Bitcoin Trading Experiment, with the help of a free, open-source application called Portfolio Performance. Since last week, I have figured out a way to import these trades instead or recording each one of them manually...

To track my BTC trading experiment, I decided to try Portfolio Performance which is a free tool I already use for tracking other kind of investments. Portfolio Performance is a software that was designed for tracking traditional investment portfolios...

Comparing Crypto Swap Exchanges

12 Nov 2020 Scott Cunningham

13 November 2020 is a great tool! The only negative thing I have seen is that it doesn't show transactions for token transfers via smart contracts (like Publish0x payments!). But then again, I can't seem to find those on Metamask either...

Kava/HARD are not Ethereum based so you cannot connect a Metamask wallet to the platform! In order to stake KAVA or BNB right now you actually need to connect Trust wallet or a Ledger. The important part of the story is still to come. On December 30th, the second version will be released where they will enable staking for BTC, XRP, BUSD, and LINK. So many ways to get HARD! Exciting times ahead...

I think this is too much work for what you get out of it! If you do put the time to enter all this information manually instead of connecting an exchange API like blockfolio, then maybe it would be worth looking into Portfolio Performance. It is a free open-source software that you can install. It already has all the items in your functionality wish-list plus powerful customizable charts, graphs and statistics. I did a small tutorial on how to set it up recently. 🙂

You can also lend some BNB out to and gain some extra KAVA in return. You know... just to try DEFI on a non-Ethereum blockchain without the high fees!

You did go through all of your followers! RESPECT. Anyway, if it's not broken don't try to fix it! I also used Google Sheets before and GOOGLEFINANCE("CURRENCY:BTCUSD") to get the prices. Once I discovered the little gem of a software that is Portfolio Performance I never looked back.
