For societies practising some form of Democracy, "BLOCKCHAIN" holds great promise. However..,
let's face it. Democracy is slow, often corrupted and very frustrating for most participants.
DEMOCRACY FOR A DAY, ANYONE? IT'S BADLY BROKEN AND NEEDS A REBOOT
DISTRIBUTED PUBLIC LEDGERS & PoW CRYPTOCURRENCIES TO THE RESCUE!
In most cases we practice "single day" democracy, when you go out to vote, the results come in that night, and then the next day, we regress back into autocratic and sometimes tyrannical forms of government until four or 5 years later we attempt to switch it out, when we don't like what we did to ourselves.
Virtually every Western Society save the Swiss operate this way.
Democracy is lucrative for those "players" in control of the game, the Corprotacracies driving the Bankers and the Politicians, through the Lobbyists to "get what they want", more power and control, and wealth.
Even the Swiss, often pointed to as a model "pluralistic/populist democracy of sorts" are subject to such non-democratic forces at the Federal level, a level of government which feeds off the tax receipts collected by the local Counties "Kantons", in the Swiss"two level" system of government. That's right, the Swiss have only two levels of government, Federal, and County(Kanton), thus fewer "hogs at the trough" overhead, so their tax rates are lower, 65% lower than virtually everywhere on the planet, and their prices are 50% higher, so even the little person can survive and somewhat thrive with more disposable income.
TK Note - If the average person living in Switzerland with minimal income budgets correctly and stays away from the tourist zone pricing, they can live a reasonable life in Switzerland. That said, most Swiss rent (72%) and do not own their home, so "The Schweiss" form of democracy, voting on something every other week, is a mixed bag "success" imo. (Take it from me, I lived there 7 years south of Zurich, in what is now the Swiss crypto valley, I saw it and lived it first hand. ;/ )

Controlling government creation and spend of money is even more of challenge today than eVoting on the "blockchain". Governments are out of control printing money at record rates designed to eat up your buying power, and shift wealth from the many to the few controlling the current fiat system. It's rigged. Henry Ford knew it, said as much back in the dirty '30s, and also pointed out in public. To paraphrase the man, "If the public really knew how the financial system and the world economy really operated, their would be lynch mobs out in the streets with pitch forks and torches looking for retribution tomorrow".
So what are we going to do about it?
Fairly and openly controlling and tracking inbound government receipts, your tax payments in order to introduce the notion of Government accountability with rewards &consequences, for the first time, won't be easy.
It's a big challenge.

It's not rocket science. It requires only the will, coupled with focus and energy to make it happen.

Let's face it, governments provide few incentives, if any at all beyond promise of a pension (which will loose its buying power daily as the government print more money based on nothing) to their employees to do a good job beyond pumping their ideological views. Heck even the major pension funds, worldwide, heavily invested in FAANG Securities, are seriously exposed today and cannot meet their obligations to first and second wave Boomers now retiring.
REPLACEMENT POLITICS--> A BAD IDEA THAT IS HERE (to "save" your pension fund), NOW.
Regardless of which country your from , the importer or the exporter, it does not have to be this way, if your governments operated in an open, fair and transparent manner. The current state of world affairs designed by the masters of the banking world of fiat, and implemented by their loyal politicians all in the name of self enrichment of the few in control, has run it's course. This artificial flow of people and the tension it creates between both parties the migrant and the indigenous can only lead to one state of affairs, armed hot war on many fronts, something the average citizen of any country wants to avoid. Unfortunately the globalist masters at the top see war as profitable, always have, and have already "pulled the trigger" they think, "to get what they want".

(Tell that to Sweden and Germany, and France and Italy, and Portugal and Spain, and Greece.., the list goes on and on, these new unskilled migrants are NOT easy to handle, in fact the opposite. Current migrant vs. indigenous tensions worldwide are the result of frustration on both sides all of which is designed by the government masters to create chaos, which creates more control by government and grows prisons, the latter being the most profitable business on the planet. Only the "masters of this fiat game" win in this type of world, everyone else loses, sometimes very quickly, always slowly over time, as your buying power erodes to "next to nothing".

BUT WHAT ABOUT MY PENSION? PENSION? WHAT PENSION?
Oh Yeah, you will likely still get your pension cheque, in some fiat currency heading toward the same status as the Venezuelan Bolivar. More scarily, you will be surrounded by new migrants who know nothing of your own morals, values, beliefs, and norms, looking to replace those too. That is not a recipe for success, but one for civil unrest and possibly worse. Add the fact the price of Bread has doubled in 5 Years and will double again in 3 years, and you get the picture.
"Blockchain" and cryptocurrencies which are sound stores of value, can stop Replacement Politics. RIGHT NOW.
