I hope all of you are doing well! But, if you have not slept under a rock in this bear market, you must have heard about the Zealy X Leofinance campaign that just got launched in Hive to onboard new hive users and with huge prize money of 5000 HBD! This newly launched short-form social platform is called LeoThreads 🧵 and it launched just in May this year. But if you are using it already, you do know that it looks from nowhere as a newly made platform because the UI is so fast and smooth and glitch-less that sometimes we even forget that everything in the background is being handled by a blockchain and not a centralized server like those web2 media. During the launch, Leofinance created quite a buzz in this web3 space with their mega onboarding campaign with thousands of liquid prizes, Hive power delegation, and also big votes on quality posts. I also was quite interested in this brand new Twitter short-form social media platform built on blockchain and engaged heavily with the onboarding campaign which continued over a month and placed me among the top 15 in the leaderboard and for rewards, apart from getting good votes on my posts while making new likeminded friends in this platform, I won more than a Hundred dollar in liquid Leo tokens. I was really glad about the whole experience because not only it encourage me to explore deeper into the crypto space and enrich my knowledge while writing better finance and technology-related posts, but I also came across some other amazing users, not to mention the amount of wealth I generated during the month-long hustling and strengthening my Hive and Leo power with it.
However, It’s been over 3 months since the campaign ended, and though I continue to write posts on this platform and engage in the Threads, inside I was missing those old Days here because obviously, it was like a competition going on and I loved every bit of that thrill. As usual, I got coped up with other nonmeaningful things and have been less active in Hive as well, apart from playing splinterlands and posting 4 - 5 blogs weekly. Where is the adrenaline rush, I needed it the most right now to kill the lazy evil version of me.
To my surprise, when I reached back from my hometown yesterday and opened threads and discord, my eyes got stuck with existing news from Leofinance. Yes, they are doing it again! To onboard more hive users from existing web2 platforms steadily every month, they have collaborated with Zealy again and have come up with another great campaign to double the number of content creators and consumers in the whole hive platform. This is also a month-long campaign that started around 3 days ago and will last until the 3rd of next month October. The main aim of this onboarding campaign will be to promote hive in existing web2-based social media such as Twitter, Facebook etc., and try to attract new users and introduce them to a social media where their data will be protected and self-owned and also a chance to earn money for their time and efforts.
As I read, there will be more of this campaign in upcoming months as well, but for this ongoing September month campaign, the main goal here would be to bring at least 450 new users to the hive, make them understand and stick around, and make an active long term user of our community out of them. We already have a fully functional platform with good earnings opportunities where all the web2 social media just eat up a common user’s time without anything in return.
