If you are already an active user or staker of Leofinance, you certainly know the importance of today or the 15th date of every month. In case you are unaware or new to the tribe community, on the 15th of every month, the Leo users celebrate LPUD aka Leo Power Up Day by staking a certain amount of Leo token into their account and this initiative encourages us to increase our stake over time and thus increase our curation power and influence in the community. Today is the 15th day of May and as we have come to the middle of this month, the Leo lovers are celebrating the day by powering up Leo tokens into their hive-engine and you can also see that the whole hive chain is literally overflowing with lots of LPUD posts today! There is no rule on amount of Leo that you need to stake, so users try to stake according to their monetary strength and that’s why people even love this program even more, because there’s no barrier for anyone to join this online festive. No doubt this awesome initiative helps us to grow our Leo power over time and build our wealth on this platform while enjoying the amazing process and I have also connected myself with this initiative for some months by now and gradually increasing my Leo power over time.

This is the third time that I am partaking in this LPUD festive and while I am generally used to stake all my Leo earnings from author and curation rewards back into my staked wallet, LPUD motivates me further to buy some Leo from market and stake it and this increasing my total stake even more. Last time, I bought 107.32 Leo from market and staked it up during the LPUD event but gladly this time, I have been able to accumulate a bit extra and powered up 150.273 Leo into my account, which was the least amount of Leo to be eligible for the Leo delegation prizes that the community is giving away this time to encourage it’s users even more to power up during the event. There will be multiple Leo delegation and thousands in amount not only from the official Leofinance but also other big users so there’s high chance if one does power up minimum 150 Leo on today’s LPUD event as announced by @onealfa. Let me share the rules and requirements below to become eligible to win one of those prizes which they labeled as Bad luck prize!

• Your total Leo Power (on the 15th) must be less than 25k.
• You must power up at least 150 Leo on May 15.
• You must not have powered down Leo since January 15.
• Make a post or a #thread on Leo Finance about LPUD. If you make a post (perhaps you'll get a visit from @leo.voter!)

Moreover, thanks to @hivebuzz, if you power up minimum 150 Leo this 15th May UTC, you will also get a badge from them as a token of appreciation.

Unlike all the previous LPUD event, this month we can see an explode in the number of participants actively powering up Leo and I guess the main reason behind it is the ongoing Leofinance x Zealy campaign where you can earn some XP points for partaking into the LPUD event. The launch of their new leofinance UI and the rise of their new LeoThreads project is already making some big waves in the web3 eco space and it is also pulling more new users into the platform with this amazing initiative. In order to spread the news across the universe, they have also launched a campaign in collaboration with Zealy and the total prize pool is really massive with 10k USD + 200k Hive Power delegation and no doubt this is attractive a lot of people, both old and new users to become more active and actively participating in the campaign task and I am also one of them. Thanks to the amazing team behind this project who are working working tirelessly on the clock to make this happen and they are also super active to fix the bugs and glitches to give us the smoothest possible experience while using their UI. I really like their dedication and capability as they do what they commit and execute them within their announced time frame. Such a great team behind this amazing project brings real value to the ecosystem and boosts up the trust and faith among us users and like many of you, I also strongly believe in what they are doing.
