GameStop continues its crypto journey by forming a partnership with exchange, FTX. 

On Wednesday, September 7th, GameStop announced a partnership with cryptocurrency exchange.

The new partnership will focus on e-commerce and online marketing initiatives, and select GameStop stores will begin selling FTX gift cards.

The deal we just announced with FTX is a by-product of our commerce and blockchain team, working hand-in-hand together to establish something unique in the retail world. - Matt Furlong, GameStop CEO

GameStop has been increasing its Web3 efforts this year, after the launch of its GameStop Wallet in June and GameStop NFT marketplace in July.

GameStop's NFT marketplace is built on Immutable X.

The company also created a gaming division to focus primarily on NFTs and Web3 ventures.

I grew up with GameStop so I am fond of the company, and it is encouraging to see them continue to explore the cryptocurrency space and introduce more and more people to our world of Crypto and NFTs.
