Hey Peeps!

On October 5th, DeSo announced they have launched support for long-form content and blog posts. 

DeSo describes their new feature as "the frictionless sharing of deep, thoughtful ideas for the first time". 

I actually have already used the new Blog feature on DeSo, and I feel it is quite easy to use. 

I am looking forward to posting some of my past and future Publish0x articles on the DeSo blockchain!

Some of the key highlights of the new Blogging feature on DeSo are:

• Post on one DeSo app and it shows up in every DeSo app
• The ability to email your followers directly whenever you post (this feature is supposedly coming soon)
• You can create exclusive content that requires a  monthly subscription fee (also coming soon)

The new support of long-form content is a big step in the direction of content ownership on DeSo.

It seems like if you post on any compatible DeSo application, then that content can be viewed anywhere on the DeSo blockchain.

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but this does sound a lot like Hive right?

My understanding is that you can post on any Hive application, and then that same content can be viewed amongst all Hive applications. 

I have honestly uninstalled most of my other social media applications, and have been focusing a lot on DeSo.
