Creators and companies came together to auction off a one of a kind NFT featuring the likeness of legendary actor, Bill Murray.
The best part of this is that Bill Murray will be donating 100% of the auction proceeds to Chive Charities, a non-profit that serves families of veterans and first responders. This is something I think we can all agree on!
This 1/1 NFT collection was auctioned off on Wednesday, August 31st. According to the Coinbase NFT website, there ended up being a total of 61 bids, between 6 collectors, with the final price coming to a staggering 119.2 ETH.
The winner of the auction was a collector named Brant Boersma. Brant will receive a bevy of rewards and perks for being the NFT holder.
Some perks include:
- Having a Beer with the one and only Bill Murray himself!
- David Grizzle, the collection artist, will paint a portrait of Brant Boersma and Bill Murray while they are having the cold beers!
- and every Bill Murray NFT includes never-before-heard anecdotes and stories from the actor himself.
Not a bad haul for $185k.....if you have that kind of money lol.
