              1. Getting Started

Getting Started on Alien worlds you will need a WAX wallet which is fairly simple to sign up for since you can use social media accounts such as google, reddit and a few others to create one. Login into https://play.alienworlds.io/. You will start with a 1 shovel to start building your mining empire. Starting with a shovel is slow going at the start but if you are a free to play player it's well worth it. There are a few ways to increase your earning potential without putting a single dollar into the game. First and probably the hardest for new players are NFT drops that can happen in-game though with the recent nerfs to abundant tools it is unlucky to drop NFTs at a reliable rate which is why mining TLM is the preferred starting method for starting players.

                2. Starting to farm TLM

To start mining and earning TLM you will need to choose a planet then a land. When choosing a planet there are a few factors to look at such as Total Pool, Mining Pool, Max Mineable and Fill rate. Total Pool is all the TLM invested in the planet. Mining pool is how much TLM is in the mining pool at the moment. Max Mineable is probably the only stat you as a starter should care about due to it being the best indicator of how much you can mine. Fill rate is how much TLM is supplied to the planet refilling the max mineable. https://www.awstats.io/mining/pools is a good site to use when determining what planet you wish to mine on just remember to go for consistent max mineables.https://www.awstats.io/land/plot/ a good site to start picking lands if your just starting with a shovel and no CPU staked I recommend going for a land with high charge time such as Active Volcanoes else you will run out of CPU fast. Though if you want to burn your CPU fast cause you have other stuff to do Geothermal springs is the best TLM per time % to go for.
