Despite the broader crypto slump, Zcash has defied the market, jumping more than 25% in the past 24 hours and extending a rally that’s lifted ZEC roughly 750% since the start of October. Zcash has surpassed Hyperliquid, catapulting back into the top 20 cryptocurrencies as its continued surge sees it eclipse a $10 billion market cap.

Co-founder of Monad today announced on X that “Locked Monad tokens are not stakeable.”
“Time and time again in previous blockchain launches, the crypto community has had the same complaint: insiders’ ability to stake and earn rewards (liquid or otherwise) on locked tokens. We heard those complaints and are taking a firm stance on this matter, in an effort to set a new standard for the space. The north star of Monad is true decentralization. The network will go live with 200 globally distributed validators that are run on consumer-grade hardware.”

Strategy Raises €620M in Upsized Stream Preferred Stock Offering.
The offering, initially planned at €350 million, was upsized due to strong investor demand and is set to close on November 13. The offering consists of 7.75 million shares priced at €80 each, bringing in approximately €608.8 million (€702.2 million) in net proceeds after fees and expenses. Strategy stated that the funds will be used for general corporate purposes, including acquiring more bitcoin and supporting its ongoing operational and growth initiatives.

A Columbia University study has found that a significant portion Polymarket’s trading activity was inflated by artificial wash trading, though the platform itself was not directly responsible.
Researchers said wash trades made up about 25% of all transactions on Polymarket over the past three years. The study found the highest manipulation in sports markets, while crypto-related markets saw minimal impact. The findings come as Polymarket hits record highs in traders and volume following the announcement of the upcoming launch of POLY token and U.S. re-entry plans.

Ethereum treasury company SharpLink Gaming has reportedly transferred over $14 million worth of ETH to crypto exchange OKX ahead of its quarterly earnings call due next week.
A wallet linked to SharpLink Gaming transferred 4,364 ETH worth 14.47 million dollars to crypto exchange OKX on Nov. 7. The move comes days ahead of the company’s third-quarter earnings call. SBET shares are down more than 12% this week.

Kazakhstan is establishing a national cryptocurrency reserve fund worth between $500 million and $1 billion, partly using assets seized or repatriated from abroad. The fund will invest in ETFs and crypto-related companies, avoiding direct crypto exposure, and is expected to launch by early 2026.
