Robinhood’s Q3 trading revenue jumps 129% YoY, ‘primarily driven by cryptocurrency revenue’
Robinhood’s crypto revenue was up over 300% in Q3 to $268 million, helping to drive higher overall revenues of $1.27 billion. “Q3 was another strong quarter of profitable growth, and we continued to diversify our business, adding Prediction Markets and Bitstamp which are generating $100 million or more in annualized revenues,” Chief Finance Officer Jason Warnick said in a release.

Mastercard announced a partnership with Ripple and Gemini to explore using the RLUSD stablecoin on the XRPL blockchain to settle traditional credit card transactions.
The collaboration could become one of the first cases where a regulated U.S. bank settles fiat transactions on a public blockchain using a compliant stablecoin.

UK to unveil stablecoin regulation consultation on November 10 to keep pace with US.
Bank of England Deputy Governor Sarah Breeden dismissed concerns that Britain is lagging behind the US in setting up stablecoin oversight, saying that new stablecoin regulations will be operational "just as quickly as the U.S.," The proposed new rules will initially apply only to what the BOE deems "systemic" stablecoins (those likely to be widely used for payments) while other stablecoins will remain within the remit of the Financial Conduct Authority under a lighter regime, the report said. According to Bloomberg, the forthcoming proposals will include temporary caps: up to £20,000 ($26,000) for individuals and £10 million for businesses.

Officials from Tenerife’s public institute ITER have stated they are finalizing a sale of 97 BTC.
Researchers purchased the 97 BTC in 2012 for $10K, for a blockchain study. They are now selling the BTC currently worth around $10M, to fund quantum research.

Circle updates USDC policy to allow firearm purchases.
USDC stablecoin issuer Circle has updates its terms to allow users to purchase firearms using the USDC stablecoin. The update was made after the company received pressure from the National Shooting Sports Foundation and Americans for Tax Reform. The company claims to reserve the right to monitor or block transactions that violate its terms and conditions, with the threat of suspending or terminating the user’s Circle Mint account.
