Bitmine and Strategy use there seemingly endless supply of cash to lower their averages again.
Ethereum treasury firm BitMine last week purchased 50,928 ETH at an average price of $1,976 per coin. As of March 1, 2026, the total value of BitMine’s crypto assets, cash, and project investments reached $9.9 billion. Currently, BitMine holds 4,473,587 ETH (worth approximately $8.84 billion), as well as 195 BTC, $868 million in cash, a $200 million investment in Beast Industries, and a $14 million investment in Eightco Holdings.
Strategy announced that it has purchased 3,015 bitcoins at an average price of approximately $67,700 per bitcoin, for a total outlay of about $204.1 million. As of March 1, 2026, Strategy holds 720,737 bitcoins, with a total cost basis of roughly $54.77 billion, corresponding to an average purchase price of approximately $75,985 per bitcoin.

Binance has launched its first batch of seven AI Agent Skills, enabling AI agents to access Binance spot and wallet data as well as trading capabilities through a unified interface.
The features include real-time market data queries, order execution with support for OCO, OPO, and OTOCO orders, address and token information analysis, market ranking data, smart money signal tracking, and contract risk detection.

Trump calls out Banks and blames them for Clarity Act stall.
Donald J. Trump said banks are attempting to undermine the GENIUS Act and hinder the advancement of related crypto policies, calling the situation unacceptable. He urged the U.S. to complete market structure legislation and pass the Clarity Act as soon as possible, stating that the GENIUS Act was an important step toward making the United States the global crypto capital, while the Clarity Act would provide further regulatory clarity for the industry.

AI models prefer Bitcoin and reflect Fiat!
A new study shows AI models picked Bitcoin as their number one monetary option, while not a single model chose fiat currency.
Anthropic models had the strongest preference for $BTC, followed by DeepSeek and Google.

Ethereum’s validator queue has surged, indicating that large investors, corporates, and exchanges prefer staking ETH over selling in the Bear Market.
Roughly 3.4 million ETH is now waiting to enter the validator set, marking one of the longest staking queues since the transition to PoS and extending wait times to approximately 60 days. This is a significant increase from 904,000 ETH in early January.

A lot of ‘Doomsday’ headlines recently about MARA updating their Bitcoin treasury policy in its Form 10-K filed with the US SEC, allowing potential sales of $BTC reserves starting in 2026.
The company holds 53,822 $BTC, making it the second largest public Bitcoin holder after Strategy.
Mara is said to be expanding it’s operations to include AI/HPC and this allows them to sell Bitcoin to finance the expansion if needed.
