Paolo Ardoino, CEO of Tether, has fired back at the latest ‘FUD’ against them. He states on X
“Tether will continue to maintain a multi-billion-dollar excess reserve buffer and an overall proprietary Group equity approaching $30 billion." Tether had (at end of Q3 2025) ~7B in excess equity (on top of the ~184.5B stablecoin reserves) + another ~23B in retained earnings as part of our Tether Group equity.

Stablecoin liabilities: ~184.5B
S&P made the same mistake of not considering the additional Group Equity nor the ~500M in monthly base profits generated by U.S Treasury yields alone. Some influencers are either bad at math or have the incentive to push our competitors.”

As $MON price dips, several whales fully liquidated.
One whale liquidated for $1.9 million, losing entire position on Hyperliquid after previously being in more than $2 million profit on MON. Another whale liquidated for $1.33 million, now down $4.17 million.

Vitalik Buterin said he hopes Zcash will avoid adopting token-based governance, arguing that token voting is flawed and could erode core values like privacy.
He warned that privacy is especially vulnerable when left to decisions by the “median token holder,” and called token voting worse than Zcash’s current governance model.

NASDAQ makes Tokenized Stocks a top priority.
Nasdaq's crypto chief says they're "moving as fast as they can" to get SEC approval for trading tokenized stocks. This would allow investors to trade tokenized shares of publicly listed companies directly on Nasdaq.
