Hyperliquid said HyperCore will add outcome trading via HIP-4, introducing fully collateralized, range-settled contracts for use cases like prediction markets and bounded options, without leverage or liquidations.
The feature is currently on testnet, with USDH-denominated canonical markets planned after further development and user feedback.

Michael Saylor, Chairman of Strategy, announced they bought more Bitcoin.
“Strategy has acquired 855 BTC for ~$75.3 million at ~$87,974 per bitcoin. As of 2/1/2026, we hodl 713,502 $BTC acquired for ~$54.26 billion at ~$76,052 per bitcoin”
Earlier he also announced the dividend rate for one of Strategy’s products have been increased for February. He said “Stretch Dividend Rate increased by 25 bps to 11.25% for February 2026.”

Polymarket still battling with US Lawmakers.
A Nevada state court has issued a two-week temporary restraining order against Blockratize, the entity behind Polymarket, prohibiting it from offering sports and event contracts to residents of the state. Judge Jason Woodbury, siding with the Nevada Gaming Control Board, ruled that the Commodity Exchange Act does not grant the Commodity Futures Trading Commission exclusive jurisdiction over Polymarket’s contracts.

White House calls Crypto and Banks to the table for talks.
White House will meet with crypto firms and banks at 1 p.m. ET today to discuss the crypto market structure bill. Talks aim to break a deadlock over how stablecoin yields should be treated.
Attendees are expected to include Coinbase, Ripple, Circle, and Wall Street banking groups such as the American Bankers Association.

Binance announced they have started converting their SAFU fund to Bitcoin.
Binance said “Binance has completed the first batch of Bitcoin conversion for the SAFU Fund, amounting to 100M USD stablecoins.

BitMine Immersion Technologies announced that as of Feb. 1, 2026, it holds 4.285 million ETH.

According to Coindesk, TRON founder Justin Sun says he'll purchase up to $100M in BTC for protocol treasury, citing a strategy to "capitalize on lower prices."
If executed, it would mark TRON's first significant allocation to the $BTC treasury.
