THE U.S. Senate AG Committee has just passed the Crypto Market Structure Bill.
This bill gives the CFTC primary authority to regulate Bitcoin ( treated as a commodity, not a security). Next steps is full Senate vote, House coordination and President Trump’s signature, which he has already agreed to.

The Hyperliquid token, $HYPE, has gone up in price by around 50% in the last three days, and now we know why.
Coinbase yesterday announced they have added HYPE to their listing roadmap. There is always insiders who know before the announcement comes and make good return on trading the information.
Coinbase also announced Infinex (INX) has been added to their listing roadmap. Infinex is apparently “a next-generation crypto app launched by Synthetix that gives users access to various on-chain protocols, services, and applications.”

Bybit announced during a livestream that it will launch "MyBank" in February 2026, allowing users to obtain personal IBANs for payments and transfers after completing KYC.
Regarding prediction markets, Ben stated that due to high compliance barriers, Bybit will not build its own platform but may explore third-party partnerships in the future. Additionally, in a review of the October 11 market volatility, Bybit has optimized its Mark Price mechanism and introduced a new insurance pool to reduce the frequency of Auto-Deleveraging (ADL).
