White House pardons billionaire crypto exec Changpeng Zhao two years after Binance founder pleaded guilty in landmark DOJ investigation.
President Donald Trump has pardoned Changpeng Zhao, the founder of the world’s largest crypto exchange Binance, the White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed to Fortune on Thursday.
Fintech major Revolut has gained MiCA authorization, allowing it to provide crypto services across the 30 countries in the European Economic Area (EEA).
Revolut's Head of Crypto product, Leonid Bashlykov, after the company received its MiCA license, says they are going full steam ahead, setting standards and making crypto available to everyone.

Osprey Funds submitted a Form S-1 registration to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for its Osprey Solana Trust, seeking to launch a spot ETF that tracks the SOL price and also offer staking.
Hyperliquid Strategies seeks $1 billion raise to expand HYPE treasury.
Hyperliquid Strategies, a digital asset treasury firm focused on HYPE, submitted an S-1 filing with the SEC to raise $1 billion. The company plans to use the proceeds for general corporate purposes, including the accumulation of HYPE. The company is a pending merger entity formed by Sonnet BioTherapeutics and Rorschach I, aiming to launch within this year.
ARK Invest-backed firm becomes largest ETH hoarder outside the US.
Quantum Solutions’ founder, Francis Zhou, announced the company’s latest Ether purchase on Thursday, “I’m proud to announce that we have accumulated 2,365 ETH in just seven days, officially making Quantum Solutions the largest ETH DAT outside the US,” said Zhou, adding that more Ether buys were coming.
