Kadena announces it's shutting down operations immediately due to market conditions.
They stated on X "We regret to announce that the Kadena organization is no longer able to continue business operations and will be ceasing all business activity and active maintenance of the Kadena blockchain immediately. We are tremendously grateful to everybody who has participated in this journey with us. We regret that because of market conditions we are unable to continue to promote and support the adoption of this unique decentralized offering."
They also state in their announcement that the blockchain will continue without them, however that didn't stop the $KDA price plummeting 60% in 90 minutes following the announcement.
Aave DAO proposes $50 million annual token buyback program funded by protocol revenue.
ACI, the Aave Chan Initiative, founded by Marc Zeller, has proposed a $50 million annual AAVE buyback program funded by protocol revenue. The plan would make Aave’s buybacks a permanent feature, reinforcing “Aavenomics” and adding consistent buy pressure on the token.
