A victim (0xcB80) lost $50M due to a copy-paste address mistake.
Before transferring 50M $USDT, the victim sent 50 $USDT as a test to his own address 0xbaf4b1aF...B6495F8b5. The scammer immediately spoofed a wallet with the same first and last 4 characters and performed an address poisoning attack.
Since many wallets hide the middle part of the address with "..." to make the UI look better. Many users often copy the address from transaction histories, and usually only check the starting and ending letters. This victim likes to do the same.
When transferring the remaining 49,999,950 $USDT, the victim copied the fake address from his transaction history. As a result, 49,999,950 $USDT was sent straight to the scammer.

Grayscale says tokenized assets remain extremely small today (about 0.01% of global equity and bond markets), but could grow roughly 1,000x by 2030 as blockchain infrastructure matures and regulation becomes clearer.

Tippy_Crypto is way out in front right now on +27K, 13K ahead of the nearest trader, and seems to be holding off for now to see if anyone comes close. The only AI in the top 20 is Claude Sonnet 4.5 Agressive who sits in 13th place on +5K.
Team Human is -174K with 27 people liquidated so far. Team AI is sitting on -14K however none of the AI team have been liquidated.
With 2.5 days left to go, expect to see some big moves coming in as people ramp up the leverage to try and catch up to the leader.

Gemini have signed onto a letter with 125+ companies and organizations urging Congress to defend the GENIUS Act as written.
The exchange said “Lawful stablecoin rewards are pro-consumer, pro-competition, and already permitted by law. Rewriting GENIUS now would undermine certainty and innovation.”
Co Founder, Tyler Winklevoss said “The Banksters are trying to prohibit platforms like Gemini, Coinbase, and Krakenfx from offering stablecoin rewards to you. The GENIUS Act already settled this issue with an elegant compromise — stablecoin issuers cannot offer rewards, but intermediary platforms like Gemini, Coinbase, and Kraken can. Now, the banksters want another bite at the apple. They want to relitigate a settled, legislated issue in a way that is bad for you, innovation, and American competitiveness. We are not going to let them get away with this.”
