WLFI said a small number of user wallets were compromised before launch due to phishing or exposed seed phrases, leading the platform to freeze affected wallets, conduct KYC re-verification, and develop new smart-contract logic to migrate funds to secure wallets.
WLFI noted the incident was unrelated to its platform or contracts and stemmed from third-party security issues, and funds will be reallocated to users who complete verification.
