Michael Saylor, CEO of Strategy, has made 3 big announcements today on X.
“$MSTR announces the formation of a $1.44 billion USD Reserve and an increase in its BTC Reserve to 650,000 $BTC.”
The reserve is to support dividends on its preferred stock and interest on outstanding debt. The reserve was funded through its ATM stock offering of common shares, and the company aims to grow it to cover 24 months or more of dividend payments. He then went on to announce the purchase details.
“Strategy has acquired 130 BTC for ~$11.7 million at ~$89,960 per bitcoin. As of 11/30/2025, we hodl 650,000 $BTC acquired for ~$48.38 billion at ~$74,436 per bitcoin.”
And finally he announced an increase in dividends for one of their products “Another rate hike last night — $STRC is now 10.75%.”

Yearn.fi has been Hacked for $9m.
“At 21:11 UTC on Nov 30, an incident occurred involving the yETH stableswap pool that resulted in the minting of a large amount of yETH. The contract impacted is a custom version of popular stableswap code, unrelated to other Yearn products. Yearn V2/V3 vaults are not at risk. Early indicators point to the following approximate losses:
- $8M from the impacted stableswap pool
- $0.9M from the yETH-WETH Stableswap pool on Curve
- Total loss: $9 million.

Sony Bank plans to launch a Stablecoins pegged to the US Dollar by 2026, for use in the Sony ecosystem including games and anime.
The bank applied for a U.S. banking license in October and will establish a subsidiary to oversee the stablecoin business.

Former Citi crypto research lead Joseph responded to Arthur Hayes’ Tether critique, arguing that Tether’s disclosed reserves don’t represent its full corporate balance sheet and that the company also holds significant equity, mining operations, and other assets.
He said Tether is highly profitable, earning billions annually from its Treasury holdings and could sell equity to cover any reserve gaps, making insolvency unlikely.
