I am new to Publish0x and have been digging into your content and getting a feel for the environment. I love the idea!

Long ago I was a prolific writer. I won a bursary for an essay, did well on my essays and creative writing projects in university. I spent a time using Facebook as a blogging platform. Life got busy with work and family and I have always had a lot of research projects and thoughts that I like to share. Over the last years its generally been over a glass of wine with friends or family, and I love the dialog and debate.

I believe that the open sharing and debate of ideas is important to a free society. When I was younger I revelled in building arguments for unpopular opinions just to get the fire started. Now I don't seek to start fires but invite people to segment their emotional self from the logical and step up to weigh the data, highlight perspectives or information that may have been missed, and playfully or politely debate with the goal of a resolution based in reality for the interests of all.

This is such a big time to be alive! The pandemic has crushed old systems, brought new innovative ideas to the forefront and we all seem to be plunging quickly into new territory. Where will we end up?

When the first lockdown happened I was lucky enough to have a technology job whose demand exploded at the time. I took the opportunity to invest my OT pay in stocks and crypto. As the year progressed my interest has increased in both these things. I jumped on the GME and AMC bandwagon, not for profit but as a statement against the corrupt financial system that treats human lives as fodder for its games. I doubled down in crypto over recent months and truly believe that de fi is the future and it falls into the larger theme of decentralization of information, education, and journalism. We are living while great leaps in history are being made!

Anyways, glad to be here, nice to meet you and looking forward to reading and commenting on more of your work.
