Post #32 – This Is What It Feels Like to Stay When Everyone Leaves

By XanonymousX | XELIS | 6 Jul 2025

Bear markets are quiet.
Sometimes too quiet.

No more “to the moon” tweets.
No more FOMO Discord pings.
No more random DMs from old friends asking, “yo, what should I ape into?”

Just silence.

And in that silence… you start to wonder:
Why am I still here?

You open your portfolio.
Red.
Still red.
Lower than last week again.
Feels like gravity is stronger these days.

You start thinking:

  • Should I have sold earlier?

  • Should I even care anymore?

  • Did I waste all this time?

But the truth is you stayed.
And staying is a kind of strength no one talks about.

Because this is where real conviction gets forged.

Not in bull markets when everyone’s a genius.
But here.
When it's boring.
When it's brutal.
When no one’s watching, and nothing’s moving, and you have every excuse to walk away.

You didn’t stay for hype.
You stayed for something deeper:
Curiosity.
Belief.
The quiet itch that maybe, just maybe, you’re early — again.

You’re reading this, which means you're still in the game.
Still learning.
Still holding.
Still showing up — even when there’s no applause.

And I see you for that.

If this post hit you in that quiet place you don’t talk about —
drop a tip, leave a comment, or just share it forward.

Because even in the silence…
we’re not alone.

I started this space because I genuinely believe $XELIS is something special. It's one of those projects that caught my attention and just stuck with me — not just for the tech, but for what it stands for: privacy, decentralization, and doing things a little differently. This blog isn’t meant to be overly technical or full of hype. I just wanted a place to share what I’m learning, keep up with what’s happening in the ecosystem, and maybe connect with others who are just as curious (or confused!) as I was
