Yeah. I said it.
We love to talk about freedom, decentralization, revolution — all the big words.
But scroll through your feed for five minutes, and tell me what you really see:
• People praying for green candles
• Chasing the next 100x
• Worshipping influencers like they’re oracles
• Crying during dips
• Panic-selling at a 5% red day
• Holding coins they don’t understand
• Begging for the next airdrop like it's payday
Be honest.
That’s not belief.
That’s addiction.
Let’s Be Real: Most People Are Just Here to Get Rich
And you know what?
That’s fine. That’s how I started too.
But don’t tell me you’re in this for “the tech” when you’ve never opened a GitHub.
Don’t say you believe in decentralization when you don’t even know where your wallet seed phrase is.
And don’t tell me you’re a builder of the future when the only thing you’ve built is a Twitter thread about “how to become a millionaire with $10.”
Crypto is full of talkers.
But belief? Real belief?
That looks very different.
Belief Is Holding When It’s Boring
It’s showing up in the bear market.
It’s reading code when no one’s hyping it.
It’s using the product even if there’s no token yet.
It’s caring about the future, even if you’re not making money today.
Belief is quiet.
It doesn’t need to flex.
It just builds.
If You Only Love Crypto When It Pumps you Don’t Love Crypto
You love profits.
You love exit liquidity.
You love hype cycles and dopamine rushes.
And that’s cool but at least be honest about it.
Stop dressing up greed in the costume of “freedom.”
Stop acting like buying a meme coin is “fighting the system.”
You’re not a revolutionary because you bought early and dumped on the next guy.
If crypto really is about a better system, a fairer internet, a world without middlemen
Then we need to start acting like it.
And that starts with being honest about who we are and why we’re here.
Why I’m Still Here (Even After the Crashes)
Because underneath all the noise, I do believe.
I believe in code over trust.
I believe in financial systems anyone can access.
I believe that the people who actually care will outlast the ones who just want to flip bags and leave.
Crypto is messy.
It’s greedy.
It’s broken in a thousand ways.
But it’s also the first shot we’ve had in decades at something truly different.
And that’s worth sticking around for even when it’s not trending.
If You’re Still Here, You’re One of Us
The tourists are gone.
The hype is quiet.
But you’re still reading this.
That says more than your portfolio ever could.
If this hit you, tip if you feel it.
Not because I need it. But because we need more truth in this space.
Less hype. More honesty.
Less pretending. More building.
Less “wen Lambo.” More “why are we here?”
