For a few days now, some newspapers have been reporting on a government portal that quite affectionately calls itself the "Rainbow Portal". This portal was provided by the German Federal Ministry for Families, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth. The site, which has fortunately caused offence in broad sections of society, is about how children should behave who - for whatever reason - feel as if they are trapped in the wrong body.
At the beginning you find some questions there, then it is also very quickly very concretely about the topic "puberty blocker", a very strong drug. A rather dubious question is asked there, and I now quote this government portal, whose statements I first thought were an exaggerated fake when I heard about it, until I was shocked and could convince myself of the content of this dubious page.
Quote: "Are you still very young and have not yet reached puberty? Then you can ask your doctor if he could prescribe you such blockers, because they can help you!" Until then, most people found it very daring - to say the least - such suggestions were made to children, because after all, we were all once children and until now could never have imagined perverted governments would come to power and try to impose this madness on children in Western societies.
Now there are also screenshots of content that was there until recently, to be exact, until two days ago (yesterday the page was offline after all the excitement about it namely "strangely"...) and on one such it says: "If you are still very young and you are not yet in puberty, then you can take these blockers!" In fact, it didn't even say anything about doctors, the government page itself made this suggestion without recommending consulting a doctor first.
Just the reference to puberty blockers for children who are not even in puberty was already very daring, since these are apparently no longer primarily just to be a child, while they never had to worry about such things in the past. That here after this impudence also still a "recommendation" such blockers to take was given, then a considerable number of indignant citizens on the plan called, thanks to which in the meantime also some newspapers reported on this scandal.
As already mentioned, I could not believe my eyes when I read about it and learned it is really recommended to administer drugs to small children before puberty, which result in a postponement of the same. Perhaps we Westerners had to expect something like this in view of the spreading "Sodom & Gomorrah 2.0" in recent years, which has changed educational plans, television and children's programs as well as daycare centers and was probably only a precursor to what is in store for Western countries in future.
On the page you can find another note, which shows how these "experts" in the ministries of "Western community of values" think and how politics is practiced here. I had to look for the passage again and will quote it briefly here: "The ministry emphasizes the article on these blockers has been online for years.
Question: Is this now seriously supposed to be a justification for such statements that are endanger the child's well-being? I mean, it didn't even say that you should at least seek advice from your doctor; instead, these statements have been available there for years, in this form and in this way that endangers the welfare of children. Only after the recent wave of outrage does it suddenly say on this government site, "The federal government does not recommend taking these puberty blockers."
It is interesting children were recommended to take such strong drugs by the government itself for years until yesterday. Another quote that might be interesting for some people is the following: "These drugs make sure you don't reach puberty, which means your body doesn't develop further, neither in the direction of a man nor in the direction of a woman, so you have more time to think, and you can calmly consider which body suits you.
Well, life is now apparently a wish concert and we can of course all just press pause without there being any consequences to fear because of it.
Honestly, what I have read through, I find worrying and I am glad that the Internet does not forget anything, so that screenshots of a government site, which quickly rowed back and tried to cover tracks, can be found indelibly as evidence on the World Wide Web to show everyone what mindset the leaders of the so often propagated "community of values of the West" really have!
The bottom line is in this day and age, one can simply keep pointing out that parents need to protect their children as best they can, because things have long since stopped working out in such a way that you can simply hand them over and trustingly rely on state institutions to fully protect the child.
