tl;dr: the emerging DAO employment economy

Working for a DAO- Decentralized Autonomous Organization- is already happening and is going to become increasingly common.

Instead of working for a company, you are working for a network/community of people whose interactions are governed by smart contracts.

I’ve done this twice now, once for the GenesisDAO of DAOstack and now as marketing advisor to Nexus Mutual.

It’s really something that anyone can do and the process is pretty straightforward.

1. Get involved
2. Add value by contributing to the community in some way that others respect
3. put forth a proposal that you think will make a difference
4. get a vote on it

It may not always work, but there are more and more DAOs out there, holding a lot of money in their treasuries and in need of help.
