I finished reading Greenlights by Matthew McConaughey yesterday - what a great book and insightful look at a very deep person.
It's full of great stories, quotes, and ideas, but this one particularly resonated with me:
Be less impressed, more involved.
Although the author wrote about this self-reflectively - pointing out that you shouldn't become so impressed by your own achievements that you start stagnating - I think the concept can be applied outwards too:
The sooner you stop being impressed by (or envious of) the achievements of others and rather get involved, the sooner you can build (or help build) something great.
