Flying bat for a mask
Taking the stroll down the dark street, with my pumpkin bag for treats and no tricks.
I hear a howl, sounds like a bad big wolf on a lose.
I hear the bushes rattle, I hear the breaths, heavy breaths.
I feel my sweat starting to collect on my forehead as I think of the Halloween horror stories that go around.
I hear the roar again, I recognize a faint laughter at the end.
Turns out its my bat masked trick and treating friends pulling a prank on me.
My friend came out screaming holding his mouth right on the bat mask, "it got me, get it off me"
It looked so real, but then he started laughing again at my shock, only then did I realize the bat is a mask.
Although scary, I am somewhat reminded that I still have friends,Evil, scary friends. haha!
