With the constant increase in the number of people using cryptocurrencies and decentralized applications, it is more important than ever to have a simple and solid way to access them. Whether you are interested in investing, making payments or using DApps, having different solutions for each business quickly becomes very inconvenient. Here's where easy-to-use all-in-one packages like Trust Wallet can help.
Unlike traditional financial markets, the world of crypto never sleeps. Having a more volatile nature, conditions can change in an instant, so it's important to have constant access to your funds, wherever you are. Trust Wallet is a totally decentralized mobile application to manage your coins and tokens that offers complete control of your private keys. With Trust, you can keep the vast majority of tokens available on the market, with new projects and blockchains added continuously. Trust's Universal Wallet (or multi-coin wallet) allows you to have a backup for all your assets, simplifying the management of the wallet. And of course, Trust works great with decentralized exchanges.
Trust Wallet includes an integrated Web3 browser that allows you to explore the decentralized internet DApps smoothly and securely. Together with Binance, Trust Wallet is working on new features including market monitoring, custom networks, network tests, a native DEX, and deep integration with Binance's infrastructure. Opportunities in the world of crypto do not end, and with Trust Wallet, Binance's official wallet, anyone can join.
Trust Wallet is part of what are called "Mobile Wallets". It is in fact an App, downloadable from the main stores, such as Play Store and Apple Store that allows you to store, send and receive cryptovalues. If you have an Android device, you can also download the APK for direct installation on your device
It works with all ERC20, ERC223 and ERC721 tokens and supports the main blockchains in the Ethereum ecosystem: Ethereum, Ethereum Classic and Callisto.
The interesting thing about this Mobile Wallet is the fact that it is an Open Source project, so the code is controlled by the community and can be constantly updated.
What Cryptocurrencies Does It Support?
The Trust Wallet supports Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Litecoin (LTC), XRP, Zcoin, Ethereum (ETH), Ethereum Classic (ETC), VeChain (VET) GoChain (GO), POA Network (POA), Tron (TRX), Wanchain (WAN), Callisto (CLO), ICONA (ICX), DASCH and TomoChain (TOMO).
Safety
As far as security is concerned, the Trust Wallet has high standards. Your private keys are not stored on any server, but are saved locally on your device. This means that you have full control of your funds. Another important peculiarity that makes it even more secure is the fact that Trust does not require the addition of personal data.
In case of loss of the device in which you downloaded the Trust Wallet, you have the possibility through another device to restore your funds. When you download the Wallet you are asked to perform a Trust Wallet Backup by saving a 12-word phrase that you will have to save in a safe place. For example, I always use the old method of putting the phrase on a piece of paper, so as not to leave it stored on my smartphone. Furthermore, always with regards to security, it is possible to use different authentication systems, such as scanning the PIN and fingerprints.
The dApp
Another feature of the Trust Wallet are dApps, i.e. decentralized applications. Once you have entered the wallet you can go to the dApp section, where they are divided into categories such as Games, Social, Utility, Marketplace etc. The special feature is the Web3 Browser which allows you to interact with the dApps. The browser has an integrated interface optimized for any mobile device. At the time of writing this review I counted 41 optimized dApps present in the Trust Wallet Marketplace, which according to the Team will continue to grow in the future.
Conclusion
The Trust Wallet as far as I'm concerned, has important security features. The fact that private keys are not stored on third-party servers but remain inside my device, are the first element for choosing a good Mobile Wallet. If we talk about privacy as mentioned above Trust does not require any personal data. Another very positive factor is the fact that the project is Open Source allowing the community to continuously work on improving the code. Finally, the fact that Binance has become its owner makes it one of the best Wallets on the market, given the seriousness shown by the company so far.
