The kiwi picking season has arrived in our little rural town, and many farmers are starting picking kiwifruit in orchards.

Several cyclists from our group have also seized the opportunity on these sunny days to take care of the same job and help our farmer friends. They should be done by the end of the week as the weather is in their favor, remove the kiwis from the branches of the trees, pack them and store them in the cold houses. Some sell kiwis directly, others wait until January because then they can sell kiwis at a better price.

I also joined the farmers with some of my friends so that they could pick up their crops sooner, put them in special boxes, mount them in a van and take them to the cold storage.

It was fun and we all enjoyed these happy moments together in the garden. The truth is that the joy comes from being together, getting along, laughing, and messing around.

And memories are formed like a movie that starts filming, projecting images on a screen forever then.

Although I have to work in the mornings, I reach out to the guys in the afternoon and we are busy in the garden until nighttime.

If I won’t be is busy with work any further, I hope I can continue to do so in the coming days. Although it is hard work, we sweat and we get tired, but the pleasure of being together and doing something to help our friendship is beyond that.
