The white-eyes are small passerine birds and are mostly found in tropical and subtropical forests. They are very common in Margalla Hills, Islamabad. Even they are found in urban areas of Islamabad and Rawalpindi. The white circle around their eye makes them very unique and beautiful. In China and some other countries, they are also considered as cage birds. In Pakistan, they enjoy liberty and are found everywhere, and mostly they travel into flocks.

Pakistan includes a total of 786 bird species, of which 39 are rare. The chukar is the official national bird of Pakistan, and the shaheen falcon is the symbolic icon of the Pakistan Air Force. This "Wildlife of Pakistan" blog is mainly the record of my birding experience in different locations of Pakistan mainly in Margalla Hills, Islamabad.
