The orange-headed thrush is a beautiful and colorful bird in the thrush family. They are mostly found in well wooden areas of forests. They are very common in Subcontinent. Like other thrushes, they also travel on the ground hopping and finding insects and earthworms. I mostly see this bird in the foothill area of Margalla Hills, Islamabad. It is very hard to photograph them as they are traveling into thick bushes.

One day I was birding deep inside Margalla Hills, a place where usually birds come to take bath and drink water, I saw this bird. It came to take a bath. As this bird could not feel my presence so I was lucky to get some good shot.
