A bit about what we've built
For those new to Wigwam: we built a self-custodial MPC wallet that lets you track, buy, swap, and now trade crypto - all from one place, across every major blockchain including all EVM chains and Solana. Over 200,000 users have already made it their daily driver. Our goal from day one has been to give people real control over their assets without sacrificing usability - no seed phrases, no complexity, just a wallet that actually works. Adding perpetual trading is the next logical step in that vision.
Why perpetuals?
Perpetual futures let you trade with leverage and no expiration date. There's no settlement date forcing you out of a position - you decide when to enter and when to exit, based entirely on your own strategy. Hold for five minutes or five months. That flexibility is exactly what we wanted to bring to Wigwam users.
We chose Hyperliquid as the engine behind this feature because it offers the kind of liquidity and execution quality that serious traders expect - tight spreads, fast fills, and depth that handles real volume.

How to get started
We kept the flow as simple as everything else in the wallet:
- Open Wigwam and go to the Perps section
- Add funds to your Perps account
- Choose the market you want to trade
- Pick Long or Short, set your leverage up to 40x
- When you're ready to close, exit your position and move funds back to your main wallet - or withdraw directly to your card
