This one is short and easy and really stands as a notice if nothing else, so know this:
Bitcoin is in a nice drop after the crash. This is one of the best possible times to invest for anyone. If I hadn't already put every spare cent I had into it, I would buy even more.
About 3AM, so that's about right. I figure this will go on for another hour or so before it "stabilizes" (not that a volatile market ever really does!)
In terms of altcoins, the most promising rate of return right now in my opinion would be Basic Attention Token and Ethereum. Those would be the "safe bets" with the highest margins for the percent of return. This is my opinion, but given BAT powers the Brave network which is growing exponentially, as well as the fact that Ethereum is very popular and has several other tokens running off of it - they show more promise than say, Stellar Lumens which I think is a great token but it just can't ever seem to be worth anything.
For these reasons, they are more likely to make a healthy recovery and with their percentages being down even further that is just awesome-sauce for an investment opportunity.
If you are like me and you started with nothing, earn some crypto and work your way up from there. As funny as it is to even discuss, day trading small balances taught me how to properly handle larger balances with less anxiety, as well as how to mitigate fees.
Due to the volatile nature of cryptocurrencies and how they are traded, it's easy to flip your money and I recommend you practice with smaller amounts if you are new.
