When you work in an office and your job is directly related to people, you gradually realize how different people truly are. The difference between people lies in how they perceive what you say. Having spoken with thousands of people on business matters, they can be divided into three types.
First, you explain the rules or conditions to them, they listen attentively, rarely ask a couple of questions, and understand what the whole conversation is about, what it's for—well, they understand everything as it is and accept it, even if they find it unpleasant or vice versa.
Second, they have no idea what you are talking about, don't understand, and don't even listen. It is completely impossible to get through to them.
Third, these are my absolute favorites: they understand everything, but they don't want to accept what you're saying. Because you are speaking according to the law and the rules, but they don't care. Because you are telling them something unpleasant. Because before you, they already heard what they wanted to hear from non-specialists, and those people told them untruths or some kind of 'nonsense.'
These are the kinds of people, categorized by their levels of understanding.
