"There is no elevator to success; you have to take the STAIRS"

I wonder if it is actually true - that to succeed in life you have to use the stairs! No elevators?
This quote is quite figurative and its main aim is to state that if you really want to succeed, be prepared to work hard and walk the stairs. In today's world, there are plenty of elevators that offer to take you to "success". But most are shams. They may take you up and get you high, but will leave you wondering if what you achieved is true success. Also push-button success only thrills for a while only to deceive later. The elevator is also a crowded place to be in.
Take the stairs. Enjoy the walk. Exercise your body, mind and soul. That's what you need in real life. The success that you achieve when you have given it your best and worked hard for, is sweet and will leave others wishing they had taken the stairs too.
Cherish the victory and watch others applaud!
