Often a day goes by when good news is hard to come by. 2020 has seen so many tests and turns, with so many more possibly to come - especially with Bitcoin. But one Bitcoin story running around South America is the one good story of a remote village in the south of El Salvador, El Zonte.
Villagers from all sides including shop owners, larger commercial operations and residents have all jumped on the bandwagon of the biggest crypto of them all Bitcoin... And they are not looking back.
The idea brought to the residents of remote El Zonte via a six-figure donation by an anonymous individual as long as they learn to use Bitcoin and create an impact for those residents and business having trouble accessing regular banking facilities.
Also in order to satisfy the anon who supplied the initial six-figure sum, the residents and business must educate themselves on Cryptocurrency in general, in order to focus attention on developing the whole community for the future creation of any Bitcoin technology.
The idea also opens the door to easier trade between local remote communities, who could benefit from crypto banking without the need for city travel. It is a huge step for these remote communities that have for too long been in the wilderness when it comes to Cryptocurrency and the associated technology. Bitcoin with harmonise communities that have a need to develop trading links locally and further afield - the technology has already sparked the minds of entrepreneurs in El Zonte, who have been selling local produce via the Bitcoin chain.
