XTRM PR - (14th April, 2021) - NEXO Important Update - The Ethereum network is scheduled to undergo the Ethereum Berlin upgrade at the block height of #12244000.
This will occur approximately on April 15, 2021.
To ensure that all your transactions are processed correctly and your funds remain secure, Nexo will be temporarily halting all Ethereum (ETH) and ERC-20 services on Nexo, as follows:
- Nexo will pause services one hour before the Ethereum Berlin upgrade begins.
- Transactions in ETH, USDT, NEXO, USDC, PAX, TUSD, DAI, HUSD, PAXG and LINK will be temporarily unavailable on Nexo until the upgrade is complete.
- You will be unable to see incoming transactions for these assets in your Nexo account during the pause.
- After Ethereum’s upgrade, Nexo will monitor the network for stability and restore services as soon as possible – we expect this to be within two hours of the fork.
- You will be notified via email once Nexo’s services resume.
Updates like Ethereum Berlin are vital to the progress of the blockchain space.
Nexo ask you take appropriate measures with your funds, so as to be least affected by Nexo's three-hour maintenance period.
