MasterCard has reported that they will also begin supporting crypto on directly on their network.

In the Q4 earnings conference call discussion, MasterCard CEO Michael Miebach says MC is planning on adding digital currencies on their network.  The intent is to "give choice to the consumers and merchants."

He states they are ready to invest in partnerships with banks, fintech, and even governments as would be the case for CBDC.
