How Do You Think Covid-19 & Fearmongering Have Impacted Crypto Currency, and What Else Does the Future Hold?
We've certainly all had a wild ride globally ever since early 2020 when the Corona Virus really hit the United States. Personally, I was severely impacted because on March 17th, 2020 they shut down the casino that I was employed by, and this made it very difficult to make ends meet in the ensuing chaos because I am one of the many mostly unmentioned percentage of people who were actually denied Unemployment Benefits.
People have also been acting strangely, and I believe for the most part it is a fear of death and the unknown that insights such panic in them. That and the press, which (to quote the popular Oliver Stone movie, "Natural Born Killers"), "Media is like the weather, but it's man-made." Pump enough mass media and fearmongering into people, and you've got many of them by the balls.
I bring all of this up because I am contemplating the recent booming popularity of Crypto Currency, the great need to keep a Decentralized Currency, and the recent rise and falls of the Crypto Market. What in your opinion, does the future hold for Crypto and the Blockchain?
I believe that it will continue to grow in strength, worth, and popularity. Of course, some types of Crypto Coin will come and go, but I think that many of them will stick, just as they have already proven their ability to thrive in a free and open market.
Speaking of an open market, with the ability to develop our own websites and thus blogs, apps, games, and so forth; we can keep freedom of speech, which is an integral part of our rights as a free nation and helps to connect and unite all of humanity across the globe.
As we continue to ride this Covid-19 rollercoaster through all its ups and downs together, let us bear in mind the serious need to protect the Blockchain, Crypto Currency, and to fight Censorship. We are all in this together, so it is our job individually to educate as many people as we can before it may one day in fact be too late to do so. Whatever the future holds for Crypto Currency and the Blockchain, or even humanity, we can face this head-on united as people and as a community that is internationally making itself very well-known.
