Hey, look over there!
Person: "Hey, Watch this. Oh, I'm sorry. I mean ... "
Me: "No, it's ok. You can say watch."
This is how a typical conversation might go when I'm out and about. I know that other blogs everywhere have discussed this but I want to very quickly just state my own experience and opinions. If you remember my first post, my introductions, I'm blind and have ben since birth. A lot of people are afraid to say words such as "see," "watch," "look," I am here to say, don't. I'm blind but I can "see" just fine using my other senses, and some intuition.
Other myths, or maybe one other before I'm out of here for the day
No I do not have super hero hearing like some people think I have. I cannot hear threw walls, although that would be nice at times, like if I'm not feeling good and have to sit outside, I can still listen to a class. Lol! Nope, I do not have xRay hearing. I also do not have X-ray smell or tasting. I only can do this stuff a bit better because I use these senses more. If I were to get my sight back I could probably adapt and be just as good, or better than, the sighted person over there. So, tonight, I'm going to go to bed after my twitch stream, maybe watch a movie and read a very good book. See you all later.
