It’s time to commemorate one of the more infamous flash loan attacks on defi so far. Burgerswap Grave coming to RugZombie!
Note: This was NOT a rugged token, but rather a hack. BURGER is very much alive and kicking. Let’s keep $BURGER undead.
What is BurgerSwap?
BurgerSwap is a democratized AMM on Binance Smart Chain with the following main functions: Swap, Liquidity Pool, Governance, ERC20-BEP20 token transfer [cross] Bridge, Burger Shack, Farm, and IFO. BurgerSwap strives to provide the most decentralized and democratic user experience for DeFi believers all around the world. Users can earn rewards by providing liquidity and participating in governance on BurgerSwap. On BurgerSwap, users control the assets and the platform.
What Happened with Burgerswap?
You can see the more about this here, but Burgerswap was attacked in the same manner as other defi protocols, wherein the hacker used a flash loan attack in order to rob liquidity from the platform. This resulted in a substantial loss of funds to token holders of $BURGER.
What RugZombie is doing:
Glad you asked! RugZombie loves the burgerswap community! This was not a rug pull but an exploit from an outside attacker as far as we know. Nonetheless, RugZombie is listing $BURGER in our graves so that the $BURGER community can have a bit of catharsis.
