New projects generally benefit from much hype and expectation of their communities. At the core of what we do at RugZombie, we want utility and utilization to be the focus. So please forgive us if we are not especially motivated by marketing and hype. We believe in the long term roadmap and viability of our token and are not watching the price action every day. With that being stated for the record, our team has thoughtfully put some marketing plans into place. We hope that this gives our users and token holders confidence that our team is doing all we can to make our product successful even before we launch.
What follows is a living document-our marketing plans need to adapt and change reflecting market conditions. We also are keeping this intentionally vague in order to provide us flexibility as we prepare for launch.
Pre Launch (phase 0)
This phase has started.
Our focus before we launch is on solid fundamentals and code; we are builders. Marketing efforts will not matter if we have no substance, and therefore we are focused primarily on delivering a great product and making the Dapp usable with dynamite NFTs.
We will begin a marketing campaign up to a week or two before our fair launch that includes:
Tasteful telegram shilling
A series of reddit, publish0x and medium posts to "drip" information
Marketing on channels from community leaders in BSC
A series of AMAs scheduled for the weeks before and right after launch
Social Media Airdrop Contests
Our priority in phase 0 is to see organic growth, and a bit of SEO engineering to attract early adopters of exciting projects.
At Launch (Phase A)
The bulk of our marketing at launch will come from our community and some strategic partnerships we are making with a few projects, community audits and telegram/discord communities.
We want to stress that our community is part of our marketing, so please follow our socials and get the word out about RugZombie. Make sure to do your daily Zombie Horde duties!
Stay Tuned: Our Auction Feature is scheduled to be released after launch, and the treasury funds raised from our Auctions will be used exclusively for our marketing purposes.
To Infinity and Beyond
The rest of our marketing roadmap is a bit vague, but you can read the visual here for a broader picture. We plan to use the marketing funds to transition from organic/word of mouth growth to a few print and media outlets. As we grow in users, we will move up the "ladder" as it were for higher profile network effects.
Will we use social influencers? (tiktok, youtube, etc)
Our team is not planning to use social media influencers at launch because these kinds of marketing techniques generally lead to massive dumps of the token upon launch. If we are picked up by these influencers early, it will be organic and not paid for by our team or
We may revise our position on this as the project stabilizes and at community discretion and certain milestones.
