Hello everyone! Lester here! How's your recent battles? I hope your are getting good drops from focus chests. For this post, I would like to predict the element, role and ability of some of the upcoming Riftwatchers cards. I have also consolidated information regarding Riftwatchers from past AMA. The goal: to hopefully acquire cards that will be compatible with my current cards. Are you excited to acquire these cards? Let's check it out!

Suidae Shaman

Element: Earth
Role: Monster
Attack: Melee
Abilities: Inspire

Normally, shamans are creatures or characters that have a role of providing support to allied monsters. So I am thinking of the ability to provide buff to allied monsters. My prediction is this monster will provide +1 Melee Attack to allied monsters.

Skargore - Rift Watchers Epic Fire Summoner

Element: Fire
Role: Summoner
Abilities: All friendly Monsters have +1 Armor.
All friendly Magic Attack Monsters have +1 Magic Attack

Skargore will be the second Epic Fire Summoner together with Talia Firestorm. Talia Firestorm has no ability so adding an Epic Summoner with an ability to Fire Element is a huge advantage to Fire Element users, given that this one will have an ability upon its release.

Inevitable

Element: Life
Role: Monster
Attack: Magic
Abilities: None

Based on this concept art, it might have a good amount of Armor and I think this one will have a Magic Attack with base damage of 2 or 3. Its armor looks like the armor of Chaos Knight so it's possible that this monster will fight along side with Chaos Knight.

Fernheart - Concept Art - Rift Watcher Epic Earth Summoner

Element: Earth
Role: Summoner
Abilities: All friendly Monsters have +1 Health.
All friendly Magic Attack Monsters have +1 Magic Attack

Fernheart will be the second Epic Earth Summoner together with Xander Foxwood. My prediction is that this summoner will provide 2 buffs because of its rarity and its holding a somehow magic ball.

Splinterlands Town Hall Summary - August 1st, 2022 - 10AM Eastern! Rift Watchers: There will be a promo card associated with the Rift Watchers release To reiterate, there will be 3M total Rift Watcher packs for sale at $5 each - Can only be bought with SPS - Sale will probably require vouchers near the start of the sale like how Chaos Legion was

Scavo Technomancer

Element: Water
Role: Monster
Attack: Magic
Abilities: Slow

Scavo Technomancer will be the 4th Scavo in Splinterlands following Scavo Chemist, Scavo Firebolt and Scavo Hireling. Most of the image has blue color so I think its element will be Water. Also, 2 our 3 existing Scavos have Slow ability so I think it will also have a Slow ability.

Splinterlands Town Hall Summary - August 8th, 2022 - 1PM Eastern! Rift Watchers: New Rift Watcher cards will include a couple new abilities Generally the team looks at the meta and adds cards/abilities that will try to balance the field Team is hoping that the pre-sale for Rift Watchers will be end of August If you want your SPS to be available, you may want to start unstaking it! Vouchers will most likely work like the Chaos Legion pre-sale Means they will be required in the pre-sale, but participating will reward you with extra benefits

Night Ghoul

Element: Death
Role: Monster
Attack: Melee
Abilities: Weaken, Scavenger

Based from its color, it seems like this card will be from Death element. Also, since its a ghoul, I assume that it will weaken the enemy and will also gain additional health when a monster die.

Time Meddler

Element: Life
Role: Monster
Attack: None
Abilities: Slow

My prediction is that this card will have Slow ability because of the word time in its name. And since we already have Time Mage with Slow and Magic attack, I think this card will have no attack at all and will require around 2 or 3 mana to summon. And also, the color of the magic circle around it looks like it will be from Life element.

Splinterlands Town Hall Summary - August 22nd, 2022 - 8PM Eastern! Riftwatchers: Presale will last until the limited amount of packs are purchased Plan seems to be still only 3M total RW packs Official information should all be announced in the RW whitepaper Aggy thinks at least 20% of the RW packs will require vouchers There are multiple new abilities being introduced with the Riftwatchers set

Mordeus

Element: Fire
Role: Monster
Attack: Melee
Abilities: Fury

Based on the last AMA, a new ability was introduced - Fury and I think Mordeus will have this ability because Mordeus was announced together with Fury.

Splinterlands Town Hall Summary - August 29th, 2022 - 10AM Eastern! Fury
I think this ability is similar to Enrage which increase Melee attack and Speed when damaged. However, I think that Melee attack and Speed will increase when the monster inflict damage to the enemy.

The release date of Riftwatchers Pre-Sale is fast approaching and the only way to buy this is using SPS and Vouchers. So I think, SPS and Voucher's value will soar high a few days and several days after the release of Riftwatchers.
