Tesla charging clients twice for the same thing

By DimitarM | Welcome to my life | 31 Mar 2021

I have just been checking the news and saw this - after Tesla announced that they are starting to accept Bitcoin as payment that several customers have been charged twice via one of the other new payment options that Tesla offers called ACH. The buyer gives the seller to withdraw the sum for the payment from the buyer's bank account whenever this becomes due.
This must be something American, I cannot explain it in any other way. What kind of person you must be to leave a seller to charge your bank account whenever they like it. Moreover, what kind of bank allows that sh!t.
For example, if you are paying with crypto this can never happen without you taking action.
In any case, the media reports from CNBC are that currently, Tesla hasn't offered an adequate way to resolve the situation without causing headaches to their customers.
Also, the media can't take a statement from the company itself, since they don't have their PR team. (?!?!?).

From what I understand from googling what ACH means is that you will give permission to a seller to charge your bank account automatically whenever they want to. People are becoming increasingly lazy when dealing with their money. Probably it is something rich people do. I'm not sure about it. I'd be not okay with leaving something more expensive than my Netflix subscription to be charged to my credit card automatically.

Yes, I do have my bank to charge my account every month to pay my loan for the flat I live in, but somehow I find this different compared to an external entity, such as Tesla or any other seller having access to your account.

How would you guys feel about that?

I personally plan to get rid of my 9 to 5 job and my bank within the next 5 years and rely solely on the passive income I get from Crypto. The country where I live is quite cheap compared to other places and this is feasible.
