So guys, earlier this week, someone wrote an article about "Top 5 coins to stake in 2020". Generally I disagreed with their choices, but on the top of his list was Netbox coin. So I decided to check it. What is is basically is a Chromium based browser(like Brave, CryptoTab and the new MS Edge) with integrated blockchain node and wallet for their coin Netbox Coin(NBX).
The cool part is that they are paying their users to use the browser and there is a staking option which gives you around 15%/year. But the big chunk of the earnings is coming from the user having the browser open. The node in the browser more or less works like a core wallet - needs some time to sync and then provides you with rewards just from being open. Before I continue, I will provide you with my link:

Whoever wants to join via my link will get 1 NBX for starters and 9 NBX after the first month of using the browser. The cool part is. Using the browser could mean only to have it open in the background. This is how my PC looks right now.
I currently have 4 browsers open - each of them has different purpose. With 16 GB of RAM I don't even feel it. And remember, I'm cryptotab mining too. I'm currently at 67% memory usage and 80% CPU usage on my laptop. Not to mention, you can do that on another PC that you are not using it as daily driver. Anyway, after you register, currently there is still AirDrop that you join automatically by installing the browser - you shall receive 20 NBX. Those are all transactions in my wallet since 14th of January when I installed the browser and staked the coins. As you can see each day I am getting two things:
1) Staking rewards -> around 0.02 NBX.
2) Activity reward(for using the browser) -> varies between 0.67 and 1.3 NBX.
3) Additionally on the bottom you can see the AirDrop reward(There is nothing you need to do besides installing the browser and keeping it open) and the referral rewards that I spoke about before of 1 NBX.
Anyway, once you receive the coins from the AirDrop you can go to the "stake" tab:
And stake your existing balance for additional rewards:
It's completely straight forward and there is no way for you to get it wrong. You put the amount you want to Stake from your balance. Enter your password and press send. It takes about 30 minutes for the system to be ready with it.
Anyway, the let's talk a little bit about the browser. As a Chromium-based browser it has all it benefits -> you can log with a Google user, you can import all your data from your Google account and you can use all Chrome Add-ons. Keeping the browser open will grant you benefits in form of coins from "staking" and "activity". It comes with pre-installed Metamask and I-wallet extensions.
The third add-on you can see is my Netbox(NBX) ballance.
At this point, this seems to be early stage in the life of this project, they seems to be just few months old, so I cannot say at what direction their coin's price will go. It looks interesting concept, but I am yet so see where they would go. I'm not willing to advise anyone to spend any money on it at this very moment. We should just enjoy the free features we get so far and see where it will lead us.
There is also an option to use the browser as a Masternode, which is very interesting -> there is even a calculator for monthly earnings of a Masternode. However it requires 10 000 NBX which if you have to buy it is a serious investment and for now i would advise against it.
If in future we manage to collect such amount by using the browser and staking, having a MN can turn quite profitable.
