So, I came across this awesome website - MindSumo, where users register and can give ideas for solutions for problems or questions put there by companies, not-profit organizations or other users.
The idea is that every task has a budget that will be divided between the best ideas. Each task is different - $1000 divided between the top 50%, or $1600 for the top 100 ideas and so on.
Basically the better you describe your idea, the bigger chance you have to get some money.
Some of the tasks that are currently available are there:
"Help us understand the retail shopping experience" from Macy's
"Can you help us create the snack of the future?" from Anonymous Company
"What's your idea for a Firefox extension for promoting credible content?" From Mozilla
"European solvers: What will the next must-have sneakers be?" from Levi Strauss & Co.

To me the website seems like an awesome idea and I have no doubt that it is a legit one.

Also there is a option for a company to join and create a task with a budget for the website users to solve.

Hope it helps guys.
