In January 2020 there was an event in Blockchain wallet that distributed 100 Stacks to eligible users. However, the coins were to be locked for 1 whole year and not to be spent or withdrawn or anything actually. Back then I didn't think much of it because the price was between 7 and 25 cents giving the whole amount price of $7-25. I was only able to see the stacks in the Airdrop section of the wallet:
Other than that STX is not visible in the wallet as they don't yet have support for it. The year has passed and now we have the announcement from a few days ago that they will become available later in 2021 when the full STX support from Blockchain will be introduced.
The incredible part is that currently, STX is blowing up in price. While everything else is down we have an all-time high of $2.59. Which makes the 100 STX cost nearly $260 which is not bad considering the fact that I have done absolutely nothing to earn them.
I only hope that in the end, I will be able to see the coins released and in my wallet.
