Simply said, NFT is a unique work of art that is located on a Blockchain and can be sold for cryptocurrency. Digital artists always had a hard time making money online, but this is a new niche that can help them generate a serious amount of attention and money for their work. I am here to offer you 4 websites where you can publish your work and sell it for crypto or FIAT.
Nifty Gateway
The best place to look for NFTs if you don't know anything about Cryptocurrency because all deals here are completed by using the USD. It is still running on the ETH blockchain, but the payments are done only in USD. Once you are trying to purchase anything that it is very often that people are trying to flip artworks that they bought at its launch for huge profits. And this is probably one of the reasons why we see some of those huge prices. The NiftyGateway is holding very high standards for the artists that are able to post there and might be a pain for someone with less experience to start selling.
Rarible
Here you can post almost anything. The quality of the work you can find is all over the place. The payments are completed in ETH and to post any of your work you will need an ETH wallet with which you will need to pay a GAS fee to miners to list your art for sale. The good part is that the verification process is pretty simple and you will not get any trouble getting started.
SuperRare
SuperRare is similar both to NiftyGateway and Rarable, super high-end artworks and they are very selective of the sellers, but it also uses the Ethereum blockchain to complete the payments. Basically for an artist to be approved by them, he needs to create 3 pieces to submit them for review and sell them exclusively on SuperRare if he gets admitted.
AtomicHub/AtomicAssets
Atomichub is very different from the other 3 marketplaces - it uses a token called WAX and runs on the EOS blockchain. The cool part is that you can publish your work literally for free. You just need a WAX wallet with few tokens inside which ensures the disk space you need to hold your NFTs and transferring them won't cost you a dime. The type of artworks published here is quite different. They are almost like playing cards from Magic the Gathering. I would suggest you go and check them yourself as I'm not really an art expert.
