First of all a very good day to whoever is reading this article. I am your friend here and I will guide you through some of the best places to visit while you come to India. As many of you already know that India is a nation where various ethnicity people live in harmony. We can also see a variety of religions and cultures arising from it . So this is nothing but a small attempt in order to show you a small piece of the Indian heritage.
So as I come from the eastern part of India then what can be better than starting the first heritage site from my home town where one of the magnificent work of art is present which is The Konark Sun Temple. So in the below paragraph I will share with you what you can expect when you visit to this wonderful site.
So lets start from the brief history about this heritage site. It was built during the reign of the Eastern Ganga King Narsimhadeva-1 from stone in the form of a giant ornamented chariot dedicated to the Sun god, Surya in 1250 CE. The temple is designed as the shape of a chariot which is pulled by seven horses. The chariot-shaped temple appears to emerge from the depths of the blue sea bearing the sun when viewed from inland at dawn and sunrise. One of the greatest architectural marvels of the Indian subcontinent is the Konark Sun Temple.
Konark Sun temple is one the many UNESCO heritage sites which are present in India. I would like to add a few more points here like the temple consist of a lot of explicit pictures which are engraved in stones in the aim that when he/she enters the temple then he/she has no desires regarding lust.
