Hello everybody,
every year the world of development changes a little bit more. Probably also this year, so I want to share my thoughts with you and make some predictions for the coming year.

Like the last years, frameworks like VueJS, Angular and React will continue to grow in user numbers in 2020. React will continue to lead the way and attract the most developers.

But what would a year be without surprises? A new competitor will shake up the market of the three big players. His name is Svelte, a new approach to developing efficient, high performance web applications.

If you want to know more about it, you can take a look at the svelte website. On the site you will find a REPL editor, where you can easily try out the new syntax and see instant changes.

When it comes to writing type-safe code, Microsoft's TypeScript will gain relevance in new projects and become the first choice. Never search for invalid strings again. If you want to try out TypeScript on the fly and learn more: Play with Typescript

Data will continue to become more and more important, especially in terms of machine learning, but also when it comes to connecting services. Facebook's GraphQL will extend or replace many REST interfaces in the coming year. The integration has not been easy so far, but with Apollo it is now easy to set up a GraphQL interface.
More predictions and assumptions will come in another article.
Thanks for taking the time to read this post. Leave a tip if you like.
